Zal Cleminson joins PRL for global Performer Rights representation!

A self-taught guitarist Zal Cleminson began his career playing in his first band, The Bo-Weevils, while still at school.

In the late 60’s he formed Tear Gas, a prog rock band that would soon become the internationally successful hit act The Sensational Alex Harvey Band between 1972 and 1978.

He has played with Nazareth, Elkie Brooks, Bonnie Tyler and Midge Ure, as well as being a member of the now-disbanded outfits Ze Suicide, Oskura, and Sin Dogs ( part of The Sensational Alex Harvey Experience).

Currently Zal is the Vocalist / Guitarist with Orphans of the Ash, whose debut album, Ellipsis, was released in November 2022.
